Symptoms of non-alignment
During the design of Strategy Deployment, approximately 20 years have been spent on tracing the rootcauses of a number of frequently occuring symptoms of inefficiency and lack of effectiveness.
These are compiled in a list of approximately 50 management issues / management pitfalls which are linked to the 10 step plan of the Strategy Deployment architecture. These include:
- Decisions are not taken in the decision triangle (= a decidion with acceptance of the corresponding consequences and the rules of the game).
- Assumptions remain implicit.
- Not all (relevant) disciplines are involved from the start.
- etc.
The reduction of / elimination of management pitfalls will lead to a significant reduction of "losses due to friction" in your organisation, such as:
- Stopping of projects that do not appear to contribute to the realisation of the strategic goals.
- Training programs that have no return on investment.
- Mismatch in the perception concerning the WHAT and the HOW within the different levels of your organisation.
